Nets can and will be moved, use this as a guideline ONLY!  Manistee nets are well marked and visible for about 1/3 mile away, if it's clear.

Leads on trap nets can be 2500' long, or about a 1/2 mile.  If you do get your gear tangled in a net, cut all lines immediately. The life you save, might be your own. Stay clear, stay safe!
