50 to 70% of the Master Angler King Salmon (Chinook) are
caught in this County over 27 lbs., more than any other place

Beautiful scenery and pristine sugar sand beaches.

Little Manistee River Harvest Weir where they collect the eggs
for the Chinook Salmon Program.

Manistee
is called "The Victorian Port City" and has a River
Walk that runs from U.S. 31 to the First Street Beach.
While I don't gamble myself, the Little River Casino is
located just north of town at M-22 and U.S. 31.
